3rd Degree Heart Block
Third-degree atrioventricular block (av block), also known as complete heart block, is a medical condition in which the impulse generated in the sinoatrial node (sa node) in the atrium of the heart does not propagate to the ventricles.
SYMPTOMS
Fainting, dizziness or light-headedness, fatigue (tiredness), shortness of breath, chest pain.
CAUSES
Third-degree atrioventricular (av) block, also referred to as third-degree heart block or completeheart block, is a disorder of the cardiac conduction system where there is no conduction through theatrioventricular node (avn). Therefore, complete dissociation of the atrial and ventricular activity exists.
