Angle Closure Glaucoma
A condition of increased pressure within the eyeball, causing gradual loss of sight.
SYMPTOMS
- Hazy or blurred vision
- The appearance of rainbow-colored circles around bright lights
- Severe eye and head painnausea or vomiting (accompanying severe eye pain)sudden sight loss
CAUSES
Glaucoma causes include elevated eye pressure (called intraocular pressure or iop) due to the eye's inability to drain fluid efficiently.
