Apophysitis Of The Tibial Tubercle
Osgood–schlatter disease (osd), also known as apophysitis of the tibial tubercle, is inflammation of the patellar ligament at the tibial tuberosity. It is characterized by a painful bump just below the knee that is worse with activity and better with rest.
SYMPTOMS
- Pain areas: in the knee or leg below the knee
- Also common: limping or lump below knee
CAUSES
High pittha(heat), severe constipation, blood impurity, lack of exercise, less consumption of water, lack of exercise and oil bath, unhealthy life style.
