Asthma In Children

Asthma affects 7 to 15% of children.

Chronic asthma is classified into four classes:
stage 1, intermittent asthma, with less of a crisis a week and less than two episodes of nocturnal dyspnea month.Apart From crises, normal respiratory function;
stage 2, mild persistent asthma is more than one attack per week but less than a day and more than two episodes of nocturnal dyspnea per month;
stage 3, moderate asthma, though symptoms daily or nocturnal seizures occur more than twice a week. Frequently, sleep and physical activity will be disrupted;
stage 4 where the symptoms are almost constant.
