Breast Problems (During Postpartum)
Pain in the breast or mammary gland, known medically as mastalgia.
SYMPTOMS
- Swelling of all or part of a breast (even if no distinct lump is felt)
- Skin irritation or dimpling (sometimes looking like an orange peel)
- Breast or nipple pain.
- Nipple retraction (turning inward)
- Redness, scaliness, or thickening of the nipple or breast skin.
CAUSES
Breast cysts. Breasts come in all shapes and sizes, and some may be at a higher risk for developing painful breast conditions than others. .,Medications,breast surgery,costochondritis,fibrocystic breast changes,mastitis,breast cancer.
