Chalazion
Chalazion. ... Chronic inflammation of the meibomian glands leads to meibomian cysts or chalazions. The word "chalazion" is greek for small pimple (and little hail). Like a pimple, a chalazion is an inflamed swelling. But instead of being on the skin, a chalazion is in the margin of the eyelid. These cyst-like nodules form around an oil gland (meibomian) within the eyelid, resulting in red, swollen eyelids.
SYMPTOMS
A chalazion may feel like a small, painless bead in the eyelid at first. Over a few days, it may get bigger, red and rubbery, but remain painless.
CAUSES
High pittha(heat), severe constipation, blood impurity, lack of exercise, less consumption of water, lack of exercise and oil bath, unhealthy life style.
