Infraorbital dark circles refer to the conditions that present withdarkness of the infraorbital eyelids. Although it is not a medical concern, it can be a cosmetic concern for a large number of individuals.

SYMPTOMS

Allergies, atopic dermatitis (eczema), contact dermatitis, fatigue,(allergic rhinitis), heredity — dark under-eye circles can run in families, pigmentation irregularities — these are a particular concern for people of color, especially blacks and asians.

CAUSES

Anemia,fatigue, allergies, asthma, and eczema. Any condition that causes the eyes to itch can contribute to darker circles due to rubbing or scratching the skin around them. ...
Medications. Any medications that cause blood vessels to dilate can cause circles under the eyes to darken, periorbital hyperpigmentation.
