It is a type of cancer that begins in the uterus. The uterus is the hollow, pear-shaped pelvic organ in women where fetal development occurs.Endometrial Cancer begins in the layer of cells that form the lining (endometrium) of the uterus. Endometrial Cancer is sometimes called uterine cancer.

SYMPTOMS

The most common symptom of endometrial cancer is abnormal vaginal bleeding, ranging from a watery and blood-streaked flow to a flow that contains more blood.Vaginal Bleeding, during or after menopause, is often a sign of a problem. Unusualvaginal bleeding, spotting, or discharge.

CAUSES

The main cause of most type i endometrial cancer is too much of the hormone estrogen compared to the hormone progesterone in the body. This hormone imbalance causes the lining of the uterus to get thicker and thicker.
