Hepatic Disease
Liver cancer, also known as hepatic cancer, is a cancer that originates in the liver. Liver tumors are discovered on medical imaging equipment (often by accident) or present themselves symptomatically as an abdominal mass, abdominal pain, yellow skin, nausea or liver dysfunction.
SYMPTOMS
- Weight loss
- Decrease in appetite
- Nausea and vomiting
- General weakness and/or fatigue
- Fever
- Pain
- Enlarged liver (hepatomegaly)
- Enlarged spleen
- Abdominal swelling (ascites)
- Jaundice.
CAUSES
Primary liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) tends to occur in livers damaged by birth defects, alcohol abuse, or chronic infection with diseases such as hepatitis b and c, hemochromatosis (a hereditary disease associated with too much iron in the liver), and cirrhosisand also due to causes : severe constipation, blood impurity, less consumption of water, lack of exercise, unhealthy life style
