Hepatitis D
Hepatitis d (hepatitis delta) is a disease caused by the hepatitis d virus (hdv), a small spherical enveloped virusoid. This is one of five known hepatitisviruses: a, b, c, d, and e. Hdv is considered to be a subviral satellite because it can propagate only in the presence of the hepatitis b virus (hbv).
SYMPTOMS

- Also common: fatigue, nausea, or yellow skin and eyes
CAUSES
Hepatitis d is a liver disease in both acute and chronic forms caused by the hepatitis d virus (hdv) that requires hbv for its replication. ...
A vaccine against hepatitis b is the only method to prevent hdv infection.
