Hyperrdontia
The presence of extra (supernumerary) teeth. Hyperdontia can Be associated with developmental abnormalities such as cleft lip and/or palate, gardner syndrome, and cleidocranial dysplasia.
SYMPTOMS
Mouth: crowded teeth, misaligned teeth, or toothache
CAUSES
When a person does develop multiple supernumerary teeth, it often is associated with a variety of conditions or syndromes such as cleidocranial dysplasia, ehler-danlos syndrome, gardner syndrome, and cleft lip and palate.
