Hypopharyngeal Cancer
Hypopharyngeal cancer is a disease in which malignant (cancer) cells form in the tissues of the hypopharynx. Use of tobacco products and heavy drinking can affect the risk of developinghypopharyngeal cancer. Signs and symptoms ofhypopharyngeal cancer include a sore throat and ear pain
SYMPTOMS
A sore throat that does not go away, constant coughing, pain when swallowing, trouble swallowing, ear pain, trouble breathing, weight loss, a lump or mass in the neck (due to spread of the cancer to nearby lymph nodes)
