Lung Cancer
Lung cancer is the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells that start off in one or both lungs; usually in the cells that line the air passages. The abnormal cells do not develop into healthy lung tissue, they divide rapidly and form tumors.
SYMPTOMS
Pain in the chest or rib, chronic cough, dry, with phlegm, or with blood,fatigue, loss of appetite, or weakness, frequent respiratory infections, shortness of breath, or wheezing, hoarseness, swollen lymph nodes, or weight loss
CAUSES
About 80% of lung cancer deaths are caused by smoking, and many others are caused by exposure to secondhand smoke, unhealthy life style.
