CAUSES

Tobacco use of any kind, including cigarettes, cigars, pipes, chewing tobacco and snuff, among others, heavy alcohol use, excessive sun exposure to your lips, a sexually transmitted virus called human papillomavirus (hpv), a weakened immune system.
