Nasopharyngeal cancer is an uncontrolled growth of cells that begins in the nasopharynx, the passageway at the back of the nose.

SYMPTOMS

A lump in your neck caused by a swollen lymph node.
Blood in your saliva.
Bloody discharge from your nose.
Nasal congestion.
Hearing loss.
Frequent ear infections.
Headaches

CAUSES

Causes of nasopharyngeal cancer. Scientists are not sure what exactly causes nasopharyngeal cancer. However, the cancer has been strongly linked to theepstein-barr virus (ebv). Although ebv infection is common, not everyone who has ebv will get nasopharyngeal cancer.
