Non Ulcer Dyspensia
Dyspepsia, defined as chronic or recurrent upper abdominal pain or nausea, is a common occurrence. Dyspepsia without an ulcer (non-ulcer dyspepsia) is diagnosed in patients at least twice as often as peptic ulceration.
SYMPTOMS
A burning sensation or discomfort in your upper abdomen or lower chest, sometimes relieved by food or antacids, bloating, belching,an early feeling of fullness when eating,nausea.
CAUSES
There is no known single cause of non-ulcer dyspepsia. It is diagnosed once other causes of indigestion, such as ulcers, inflammation, reflux, a hiatus hernia or a bacterial infection called helicobacter pylori, have been excluded. Tests may be carried out to look for these causes.
