Diseases
Odontiasis
Cutting of the teeth : teething.
SYMPTOMS
Teething (odontiasis) happens when a baby's teeth puncture their sensitive gums, usually beginning between 4–8 months old. Teething Symptoms can include increased crying, painful gums, crankiness, trouble sleeping, swollen gums and chewing on hard objects.
CAUSES
Because teething is so common and other symptoms such as fever, fussiness, and diarrhea are also common, both conditions may often occur at the same time. Other illnesses or disorders (such as viral infections) are much more likely to be causing fever, fussiness, and/or nasal congestion with cough and diarrhea.
