Brain cancer: cancer of the central information processing center of the body. Tumors in The brain can be malignant or benign, and can occur at any age. Only malignant tumorsare cancerous. Primary brain tumors cancer initially forms in the brain tissue.

SYMPTOMS

Headache, difficulty walking, muscle weakness, problems with coordination, weakness of one side of the body, or weakness of the arms and legs, balance disorder, dizziness, fatigue, or vertigo, nausea or vomiting, pins and needles or reduced sensation of touch, inability to speak or understand language or mental confusion, difficulty speaking or impaired voice, blurred vision, personality change, seizures, or sleepiness

CAUSES

Some genetic diseases put you at risk for brain tumors. These includeturcot syndrome (a condition characterized by abnormal cells and polyps) and neurofibromatosis (a tumor-causing genetic disorder).
