Pelvic Pains (During Postpartum)
Pain perceived in the area of the pelvis, the lower part of the abdomen located between the hip bones. The term pelvic pain is most commonly used to refer to pain arising from reproductive organs (uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, vagina) in women.
SYMPTOMS
Endometriosis,musculoskeletal problems,chronic pelvic inflammatory disease,ovarian remnant,fibroids,irritable bowel syndrome,painful bladder syndrome (interstitial cystitis),pelvic congestion syndrome.
CAUSES
Common causes of chronic pelvic pain. The most common causes of chronic pelvic pain are: endometriosis. chronic pelvic inflammatory disease – a bacterial infection of the womb, fallopian tubes or ovaries, which often follows a chlamydia orgonorrhoea infection and needs immediate treatment with antibiotics.
