Renal Corticomedullary Abscess
Carbuncle of the kidney may be defined as metastatic, circumscribed, conglomerate suppurative process, caused by stayphyloccus aureas, having its origin in some superficial focus, such as a furuncle, paronychia or carbuncle.
SYMPTOMS
Dysuria, urinary tract problems(malaise,fatigue, weight loss)
CAUSES
Caused by bacteria from an infection that’s gotten to the kidneys. The bacteria can travel through the blood or in urine backing up into the kidney. In kidney, the bacteria can spread to the kidney tissue.
