Urinary Disorder
Urinary incontinence is the involuntary leakage of urine; in simple terms, it means a person urinates when they do not want to. Control over the urinary sphincter is either lost or weakened. Urinary incontinence is a much more common problem than most people realize.
SYMPTOMS
- Symptoms of stress incontinence: involuntary release of urine, especially when you cough, sneeze, or laugh. Leaking a small to moderate amount of urine.
- Symptoms of urge incontinence: frequent and sudden uncontrollable need to urinate.
CAUSES
Pregnancy. Hormonal changes and the increased weight of the fetus can lead to stress incontinence, childbirth, changes with age, menopause, hysterectomy, enlarged prostate, prostate cancer, obstruction.
