Venter Disorder (Abdominal Adhesions )
Abdominal adhesions are bands of scar tissue that form between abdominal tissues and organs, causing them to stick together.
SYMPTOMS
Severe abdominal pain or cramping, nausea, vomiting, bloating, loud bowel sounds, abdominal swelling, the inability to have a bowel movement or pass gas, constipation—a condition in which a person has fewer than three bowel movements a week; the bowel movements may be painful
CAUSES
Cuts involving internal organs, handling of internal organs, drying out of internal organs and tissues, contact of internal tissues with foreign materials, such as gauze, surgical gloves, and stitches, blood or blood clots that were not rinsed away during surgery.
