Fifth Disease

SYMPTOMS
The facial rash looks as if the cheeks were slapped. Sore throat, slight fever, upset stomach, headache, fatigue and itching are among other symptoms.
CAUSES
Parvovirus b19 causes fifth disease. This airborne virus tends to spread through saliva and respiratory secretions among children who are in elementary school.
